National HBPA  
National HBPA
The National HBPA based in Lexington, Kentucky, is the largest racing horsemen’s representative organization in North America with 30 affiliate organizations and close to 30,000 member horsemen. The National HBPA is dedicated to:

  • • Improving and preserving Thoroughbred racing
  • • Providing a voice for horsemen
  • • Supporting Thoroughbred aftercare
  • • Facilitating guidelines to ensure the safety of horses, jockeys and horsemen
  • • Supporting general benevolence with a goal of meeting our motto of "horsemen helping horsemen."

The Jockey Club

The Jockey Club based in New York, is dedicated to the improvement of Thoroughbred breeding and racing. The Jockey Club’s primary responsibility, since 1894, is the maintenance of The American Stud Book that ensures integrity of the breed in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
