Wagers: #3 to win, Exacta 3/1-4-9, Exacta 1-4-9/3, Trifecta 3-4/2-5/1-2-3-4-5-9, Trifecta 3-4/1-2-3-4-5-9/2-5

Analysis: #3 COIL ME HOME (4-1) was no match for the winner in the Thor’s Echo June 15, but he did well to rally for the place that day. He reconnects with his winning rider Flavien Prat, and he has the numbers to take this. #4 King Jack (7-2) was strong in his six panel bow at Santa Anita June 1, and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. He should be forwardly placed under Mike Smith. #1 Spokane Eagle (9-2) figures to be hustled from the inside post under Agapito Delgadillo. He is back in top form and has won twice at this distance and once at Del Mar. #9 Metropol (5-1) won his long ago bow as the chalk for Bob Baffert. He shows a couple of Los Alamitos bullets for this. #2 Cool Bobby (5-1) has always struck me as a horse without a preferred distance. He has been competitive sprinting and routing, and seven panels might be just right. He adds blinkers, and his lone win in nine outings was at Del Mar in 2017. #5 Cat’s Blame (12-1) likes rallying for minor awards, and he should get pace to chase. I like him underneath.
