Meet E. J. Clark

E. J., a 30-year broadcast radio veteran, has covered Thoroughbred racing for most of that time. After 22 years on the air as a DJ and program director, he joined his radio station’s sales staff at WTMT- AM in Louisville, Ky., and created what is now the city’s longest-running horse racing talk show, the Kentucky Winner’s Circle, in 1997.

Originally known as “The Road to Racing,” the show has aired on a number of local stations, and it returns in 2020 on 93.9 The Ville while streaming live on ESPNLouisville.com. Listen in from 10-11 a.m. ET starting Feb. 22.

When racing’s in session at Kentucky’s major circuits, you can find Clark, microphone in hand, roaming the barn area, with those interviews and more coming to Horse Racing Nation during Triple Crown season.
