Watch: Recently minted Grade 1 winner Whitmore cools off

Last Saturday, Whitmore became trainer Ron Moquett's second Grade 1 winner, and the barn's first since 2006. So if the horse wants to play in a sprinkler, he's earned that right.

Moquett shared to Twitter a look into the Forego Stakes hero's personality. Or perhaps it was just that hot Monday afternoon at Saratoga.

Either way, Whitmore -- now a winner of more than $1.9 million -- appears well behaved, on a loose hold and cooling off at the Spa.

As Moquett put it, "I haven’t met many 5 year olds that don’t love playing in the sprinkler on a hot summer day."

Editor at Horse Racing Nation, Jonathan has a slight addition to Twitter and the ongoing conversations surrounding racing. Often, that leads to some worthwhile content that doesn't always get seen by the masses, hence this blog.

Look for Best of the Web to feature that viral video clip or photo, perhaps a connection's tweet, and those racing stories that simply deserve sharing.
