Meet Megan Devine

Megan Devine has been around horses for as long as she can remember. Originally from Long Island, she grew up attending the races at the New York tracks: Belmont, Saratoga and Aqueduct. She worked at local barns, mucking stalls and grooming horses in exchange for riding lessons. These would later pay off as Megan was selected as an National Finalist in the Emerging Athletes Program, a youth talent scout initiative from the United States Hunter Jumper Association. After graduating from high school, Megan left New York to attend the Equine Industry Program at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Once there, Megan experienced much more of the Thoroughbred industry by going to Kentucky racetracks, visiting breeding farms, working the sales and participating in major events. Since 2012, Megan has worked for NBC Sports for the nationwide coverage of horse racing and Sunday Night Football. Some of her responsibilities include coordinating with trainers, directing shots during the morning workouts, managing on-air talent and much more. In 2014, Megan joined the TVG team as a production assistant and guest reporter at Keeneland. Megan is also a part of the team at Fashion at the Races. Megan is passionate about horses and enjoys every aspect of the industry. She hopes to one day become a broadcaster for international horse sports.

Through Horsenalities, Megan hopes to showcase some of the best horses in our industry. Megan's connections allow her to provide readers with exclusive access to these equine stars. She hopes Horsenalities will improve the image of horse racing by spotlighting some of the great participants of the industry, and enable all fans of the sport, both new and existing, to get to know these amazing horses on a more personal level!
