HorseCenter: Stephen Foster analysis and Life Is Good's return

This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman offer analysis and picks for the weekend's top races, the Stephen Foster from Churchill Downs and Belmont Park's John A. Nerud, both Grade 2 events.

In the Stephen Foster, top horses from the older dirt male division meet going nine furlongs. Olympiad brings a four-race winning streak to the Foster for trainer Bill Mott, who knows how to keep a talented horse in the winner’s circle. Mandaloun makes a comeback after a disappointing trip to the Middle East to run in the Saudi Cup (G1). Caddo River has three allowance victories this year to give Brad Cox a pair of contenders.

At Belmont Park, the Nerud features a speedy match-up. Life Is Good returns to American racing after a fourth in the Dubai World Cup (G1) and Speaker’s Corner will try and bounce back from his third in the Met Mile (G1).

Matt and Brian analyze both of those big races, providing their top picks at the end of the show. Good luck this weekend and, as always, thanks for watching the show.
