HorseCenter: Updating all things Kentucky Derby 2020

This week on HorseCenter, co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman continue to cover the latest on the road to the 2020 Kentucky Derby with previews of Saturday's Mucho Macho Man and Sham Stakes.

At Gulfstream Park, the one-turn Mucho Macho Man doesn't offer Derby qualifying points. But it will feature the top Florida-bred Chance It, who could punch his ticket to events such as the Holy Bull (G3), Fountain of Youth (G2) and Florida Derby (G1).

The Sham does award points on a 10-4-2-1 scale to its Top 4 finishers. Trainer Bob Baffert has a pair of maiden winners entered, while the anticipated favorite, Honor A. P., came up with an injury this week that wil prevent him from competing.

Also this week, the hosts discuss undefeated Independence Hall's pre-race antics in the Jerome Stakes and review his most-recent vicotry at Aqueduct.

As always, thanks for watching the show.
