No. 4 Flat Out Flashy (4-1) finished in the top three in eight of his last 10 starts. He handles any footing but seems to move up on a wet track, and there is a chance of rain on Wednesday. He should make his presence felt from the outset.
No. 5 Papa Tony (6-1) hit the board in his last four local sprints. He owns two wins at this distance and is worth considering at a hint of a price.
No. 1 Charging Lion (7-2) pressed the pace and missed by a neck in a local claiming dirt route on Nov. 8, and he was well clear of the show finisher that day. He is back in the Brandon Culp barn, and he should attend the pace from the inside post. He likes earning minor awards at this course and distance.
No. 6 Ok Game On (5-1) rallied to edge Charging Lion last time. The sharp gelding has a good overall record at this course and distance, and he can stalk or close.
No. 4 to win
