#3 Trust Fund Kitty scratched, and that allowed #10 EQUAL MEASURE (3-1) to get in from the AE list. She dropped back into a maiden claimer and was a sharp winner vs. local $62.5k foes at one mile Aug. 3. Kent Desormeaux rides back for Bob Hess Jr. and an outside stalking trip is expected.

#9 Flying to the Line (7-2) stretched out and was strong throughout in her local flat mile maiden win on turf July 26. She is the one to catch for Flavien Prat and Peter Miller.

#4 Breezy Bee (4-1) is dangerous from off the pace for Keith Desormeaux. She did not handle eleven furlongs vs. local OC-40k/1x foes July 21. She finished 1st or 2nd in three straight before that one, and she can bounce back in this easier spot at a shorter distance in her second start after a layoff. She is 0-for-5 at Del Mar and seems to prefer Santa Anita.

#6 Heathers Grey (4-1) completely turned things around when switched to turf routes in her last two starts at Santa Anita. She is a fresh tactical threat under her winning rider Aaron Gryder.

#1 Smiling Rose (8-1) exits a rallying place finish from an outer post vs. similar local turf routers. That was her first try on grass and first start around two turns. She should save all the ground today.

Wagers:

#10 to win
