Wednesday's Best Bet: Chickieness is no surprise in Small Wonder

No. 3 Chickieness (3-1) chased outside and was second best in the Blue Hen Stakes last time. She improved her speed ratings in all three starts and might have a bit more to offer in her second start after a layoff. She should be forwardly placed at a speed-friendly distance.

No. 1 Bound by Destiny (3-2) won all three starts, including an easy tally in the local Blue Hen Aug. 31. She can set the pace or stalk and should make her presence felt throughout from the rail.

No. 6 Skylar’s Sister (5-1) rallied from the back of the pack in her winning turf sprint bow at Laurel Park. She switched to dirt and was along for the show in the Blue Hen last time. She adds blinkers and will try to get involved late.

No. 4 Talk to the Judge (8-1) shook loose early and kept on going in her Parx debut. She meets other speed and will have to run faster to take this.

No. 3 to win
