#5 WHISTLING BIRDS (7-2) tracked below par fractions, took over, and held on by a neck Feb. 15, and the top two finishers were 8+ lengths in front of the rest. I like his early-pressing versatility in a race with plenty of pace.
#1 Ruby Bleu (2-1) figures to save ground stalking the pace from the advantageous inside post. He deserves to be the favorite.
#2 Dirt in Your Face (4-1) is a fresh 8-year-old gelding with early-pressing speed. His last win was a romp at this course and distance.
#5 to win
