No. 1 Smooth B (9-2) did not seem to care for the wet track in the Blitzen Stakes last time. He won a similar local allowance affair at this distance last fall, and the veteran campaigner should make his presence felt throughout under apprentice rider Jose Gomez.

No. 2 Beren (8-5) ran well in his last three stakes starts. He owns the best recent speed ratings and reunites with his winning rider Frankie Pennington.

No. 5 Sound off (12-1) rallied to hit the board in his last three routes. He has a good overall record at this distance and can spice up the exotics.
