Tuesday's Best Bet: Shadoweless runs off screen at Remington

Tuesday’s 4th race from Remington Park is a $34,000 allowance event for two-year-olds which have never won two races. They will be dashing six and one-half furlongs on the main track (Post Time 4:54 p.m. EST).

No. 1 SHADOWLESS (9-2) chased below par fractions before rallying outside for the win in his local sprint debut Nov. 12, and that effort netted him the best last-race speed rating. He will have to work out a different trip from the inside post in this spot.

No. 4 Swift Tap (2-1) rallied wide to graduate in his career debut in the slop at Monmouth Park Aug. 8. He failed to crack the top three in his last two stakes starts at that venue, and Jerry Hollendorfer’s $100k purchase will probably be competitive in this spot.

No. 5 Don’tcrossthedevil (3-1) did not run particularly fast in his winning course/distance bow on a good track Oct. 27, but he looked good visually and will probably work out a similar trip.
