#4 PORTAL CREEK (7-2) controlled the pace and ran away and hid in a local extended sprint starter allowance victory Aug. 5, and the distant runner-up was a next-out winner. She was made the favorite in her next start vs. this kind Sept. 15, and she regressed in a distant show finish, and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. She is two-for-three at this distance and figures right there if she runs a bit faster than she did last time.
#10 Be Present (9-2) is a $400,000 Keeneland sales grad with four solid efforts from five career starts. She likes to get involved early and should attend the pace from the outside post.
#2 Capital Q (3-1) fired trifecta shots in her last five starts vs. PA-bred allowance foes. The versatile sophomore filly is a solid contender in her current form.
#9 Ebo Special (6-1) adds blinkers and has every right to move forward in his second start of the year. She is probably going to chase the pace outside.
#4 to win
