Tuesday's Best Bet: Poco Suenos worth a long look at Turf Paradise

February 11, 2019 05:52pm

Tuesday’s fourth race from Turf Paradise is an $8,500 claiming event for fillies and mares which have never won two races. They will be traveling one mile on the turf course (Post Time 4:23 p.m. ET).

#1 POCO SUENOS (9-2) is interesting after a distant show finish in the local mud vs. this kind. She saved ground stalking the pace, and she dropped back and came again to just miss the show from an inner post in a similar turf route Dec. 30. Daniel Vergara is 3-for-5 with Molly Pearson recently and she looks like a contender at a hint of a price.

#4 Mistletoe (6-1) fired trifecta shots in four of five turf starts and gets pace to chase. She is solid top three threat under Scott Stevens.

#5 Charming Jilly B (3-1) finished in front of my top choice while clearly second best in her last two local starts. She projects a stalking trip.

#3 Jane’s Revenge (8-5) brings solid local dirt route form to the table but her turf pedigree is nothing special and barn struggles with first turf starters.
