Tuesday's Best Bet: Mr Hoover cleans up at Penn National

Tuesday’s 3rd race from Penn National is a $28,000 entry level allowance event for four-year-olds and traveling one mile on the main track (Post Time 6:54 p.m. EST).

No. 4 MR HOOVER (6-1) exits an okay 4th over the bullring oval at Charles Town. He won a local dirt sprint Dec. 1 and handled a route of ground at Indiana Grand multiple times.

No. 8 Dollarization (5-2) is a sharp gelding with stalking speed and he might find himself in the right spot behind the front runners.

No. 2 Here’s Waldo (5-1) stalked wide and ended up 4h behind a runaway winner at Parx Nov. 23. He was a good 2nd in a similar local spot Nov. 3 and should attend the pace. His 1-for-14 record is a concern but he usually finishes in the top three at Penn National.

No. 3 Cargo Ship (4-1) was blanked in six local starts at this level last year. He is usually competitive and might be the one to catch.
