Tuesday's Best Bet: It's a Boy ready to deliver at Turf Paradise

March 25, 2019 10:04pm

Tuesday’s sixth race from Turf Paradise is a $15,000 allowance event for 3-year-olds and up which have never won three races. They will be traveling seven and one-half furlongs on the turf course (Post Time 5:45 p.m. ET).

#4 IT’S A BOY (6-1) did not get any pace help in a local allowance turf affair at this distance won in front running fashion by #3 Midnight Reverie (7-2) March 9. There are a few speed horses in this event and he might be able to bounce back and run past this group at playable odds. He won two of his first three local turf routes and his numbers were climbing prior to that last one.

#1 Beat the Heat (5-2) exits back-to-back sharp local turf wins at one mile and I like his running style versatility. He could easily make it three straight under Scott Stevens.

#2 Elwood J (4-1) and #7 Thegloryisallmine (3-1) should both impact the pace and either is capable of winning if able to shake loose early.
