Tuesday’s 8th race from Parx Racing is a $35,000 allowance event for Pennsylvania-bred 3-year-olds and up journeying seven furlongs on the main track (Post Time 4:04 p.m. ET).
#6 BABY BULL (7-2) exits back-to-back runner-up finishes in dirt routes at Penn National. He adds blinkers, has been stabled at Parx all along, and ran well in both previous local outings.
#1 Irish Cork (5-2) exits a highly rated local route win as the favorite and he always finishes in the top three. My top two contenders are both trained by John Servis.
#2 Puttheglassdown (3-1) failed to recover after hitting the gate and breaking slow in a similar local sprint on a good track Sept. 29. That was his first start in more than five months, and he landed the place in his only other local start last year. He fits with these on his best day but seems to prefer six panels.
#6 to win
