Tuesday’s 8th race from Penn National is a $28,000 entry level allowance event for fillies and mares dashing five and one-half furlongs on the main track (Post Time 9:10 p.m. ET).
#6 CHILLY SKY (3-1) makes her first start in more than seven months for a sharp layoff outfit. She was in good form when last seen and fired a local gate bullet for this June 2. She should make her presence felt throughout.
#5 Seeking the Dream (5-2) was right up on the pace in all four local starts and ran well each time. She can win this if she moves forward a bit in her third start after a layoff.
#1 Freedom Passage (7-2) can compete with these if she can rediscover her sharp claiming and starter allowance form. She was no threat in her last two allowance starts and has been freshened for this. A ground saving trip behind the speed is anticipated.
#4 First Forever (12-1) controlled the pace and rolled to an easy local dirt sprint win vs. $5k claimers May 19. She steps up in her second start after a layoff and will probably revert to stalking tactics in this spot.
#6 to win
