Tuesday’s 7th race from Presque Isle Downs is a $12,500 claiming event for 3-year-olds and up which have never won two races. They will be traveling a mile and seventy yards on the all-weather surface (Post Time 7:15 p.m. ET).
#5 BIJEMINI SLEW (8-1) was shuffled out of position early and lost all chance in his last start vs. allowance foes at this distance at Finger Lakes Oct. 6. He earned multiple competitive speed ratings before that including an even 5th in a local route Sept. 22. He seems to fit with these and should offer value.
#4 Channel Stuffer (9-5) added blinkers and stalked slow fractions in a $40,000 claiming turf route at Monmouth Park Sept. 20, and he split a 10-horse field in an even effort that day. The class drop could lead to an improved effort if he handles all-weather ground for the productive Morales/Stidham team.
#7 Vincent Van Gogo (9-2) clearly did not enjoy hurdles in his last pair. He was an okay late running router on turf and dirt before that and should be finishing under profitable route rider Harry Hernandez.
#5 to win
