#7 BELTWAY (3-1) earned the best last race number in a conventional dirt win at this distance at Thistledown. He was a solid 3rd in a local route before that, and the top two finishers were next-out winners. The consistent gelding projects an outside stalking trip.

#4 Marmalade (5-2) is a 9-time local winner exiting a distant 4th place finish in a PA-bred stakes race, and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. This is a better spot for the 6-year-old mare, and she has a recently hot jockey-trainer team in her corner. She owns early-pressing versatility.

#2 Boomin Goose (6-1) ran well in his last three local routes, and his best numbers put him in the conversation. He fell too far back last time. The 7-time local winner likes this distance and is a solid trifecta threat.
