Thursday's Best Bet: Money Fromheaven can prosper at Laurel Park

Thursday’s 8th race from Laurel Park is an optional claiming event for fillies and mares traveling one mile on the turf course (Post Time 4:10 p.m. ET).

#1 MONEY FROMHEAVEN (6-1) exits a clear place finish in a race originally scheduled for turf July 31. She looked good rallying for the win in a local turf sprint June 1, and should save ground before launching her rally for the productive Perez/Smith team.

#5 Ylikedis (7-2) exits back-to-back local turf victories at a mile and a sixteenth. I like her tactical speed and she should be in a contending position turning for home.

#9 Mucha Mezquina (9-2) won both races since Salvaggio claimed her April 24. She likes to attend the pace in turf routes and might be the one to catch.

#6 Dancingwithpaynter (8-1) finished in the top three in eight of her last ten starts. The sharp Pennsylvania shipper has won at Laurel Park before and could easily maintain form in her third start after a layoff.

#12 Ebullient (4-1) showed nice late interest in a show finish at Delaware Park July 8. The added half furlong probably helps, and I like her running style versatility.
