Thursday's Best Bet: Hay Field makes hay while sun shines at Aqueduct

November 06, 2019 08:06pm

Thursday’s 7th race from Aqueduct is an optional claiming event for New York-bred fillies and mares dashing six furlongs on the main track (Post Time - 3:17 p.m. ET).

#4 HAY FIELD (3-1) landed the place in her last pair, and her new trainer Robert Falcone Jr. has good stats first after the claim. The fresh mare likes Aqueduct and projects a stalking trip under Irad Ortiz Jr.

#2 Spring Drama (5-1) makes her first start since April for Kiaran McLaughlin. She was in good form earlier this year, and she finished 1-2 in all four local starts.

#1 Cash Offer (2-1)  does her best work at six panels and looks like the one to catch from the rail under Jose Ortiz.

#6 New Girl In Town (6-1) is a consistent Finger Lakes shipper. She shipped to Saratoga and defeated Cash Offer at this distance July 27.
