No. 5 Dot (9-2) smartly captured her abbreviated sprint bow as the betting favorite at Gulfstream Park. She drilled a half-mile bullet for this on Sept. 5.
No. 4 Streaming Now (7-2) wired the field in her Ellis Park debut. She pressed the pace and ended up a solid third in the Grade 3 Adirondack second time out. Brightwork won that one and clicked right back in the Spinaway (G1). Paulo Lobo has good stats with his allowance starters.
No. 1 Sam’s Treasure (5-2) switched to dirt at Saratoga second time out and rolled to a sharp, prominent-throughout win. The show finisher from her last won her next start, and this filly should be forwardly placed from the inside post. The owner paid $700k for the daughter of Munnings.
No. 3 Zadorsky (5-1) hit the board as the beaten favorite in her first two starts at five panels. She dueled on the lead and broke through with her first win at Saratoga on Aug. 13. The early-pressing filly should be in the hunt throughout.
