Thursday's Best Bet: Adens Dream the inside speed at Emerald Downs

Thursday’s 8th race from Emerald Downs is a starter optional claiming event for three-year-olds and up dashing six and one-half furlongs on the main track (Post Time 12:01 a.m. ET).

#1 ADENS DREAM (4-1) moves to the Ari Herbertson barn and he is off to a fast start at the current meet. The eight-year-old gelding will probably show speed from the rail in a race lacking front end speed.

#2 Zatter (9-5) exits a sharp local $10k claiming sprint victory, and that was his first start after the Joe Toye claim. The sharp early-pressing gelding steps up and might be able to repeat.

#5 Wine At Nine (7-2) turned back and was a non-threatening 3rd as the beaten favorite vs. this kind May 26. He won two straight before that and has captured many races at Emerald Downs throughout his career.

#3 Silver Fury (6-1) raced wide and was run off his feet in a similar local sprint May 16. The race seems to have less pace and he might bounce back if able to get involved earlier.
