#2 ANYPORTINASTORM (4-1) switched to dirt and promptly won the Zia Park Sprint for Anothertwistafate’s connections in his final start of 2018. The versatile sprinter runs well fresh and could easily pick up where he left off.
#3 Chief Cicatriz (3-1) won his last four sprints on a fast track and he captured a stakes race in his lone local try in 2016. The sharp Turf Paradise shipper could easily go all the way under Scott Stevens.
#4 Classy Class (10-1) used to be a decent runner for Kiaran McLaughlin. He competed in thirteen graded races when he raced for Kiaran and captured the Salvator Mile (G3) at Monmouth in 2017. He relocated to New Mexico last September for Justin Evans and finally got a win vs. local optional claiming sprinters as the chalk Feb. 24. He is sharp, has back class, and gets pace to chase.
#8 Minister of Soul (6-1) is another sharp Turf Paradise shipper and his connections are easy to like. He owns early-pressing versatility but lost his lone local stakes outing late last year.
#9 All Out Blitz (5-2) is classy enough to win a race like this but I am not sure about the sprint distance. His last two wins were at one mile and his lone sprint win in six tries was a nose maiden victory at Los Alamitos in 2017.
#2 to win
