Saturday’s tenth race from Gulfstream Park is the $60,000 Juvenile Stakes for Florida-bred 2-year-olds traveling a mile and seventy yards on the all-weather surface. The scheduled post time is 4:54 p.m. EST.

No. 8 Souper Blessing (7-2) smartly went last-to-first in his all-weather sprint bow at Presque Isle Downs. His second start was in the Juvenile Sprint at seven panels on dirt. In that race, the pace was slow and the strong favorite dominated. He tried to get involved from off the pace and ended up missing the place by a neck. He stretches out after two sprints and is bred to go this far.

No. 3 Cheerful Charlie (2-1) is 1-for-8 with five minor awards. He missed by a neck in his lone route try in the Armed Forces Stakes on Sept. 24. He should attend the pace.

No. 2 Maximo (5-1) is probably the one to catch. He aired in his maiden win at this distance, and was up the track in his last two stakes starts. He removes blinkers and this is his first start as a gelding.
