#4 SEMPER SENTENTIAE (7-2) had the lead but could not quite see out the mile and a half distance on yielding ground in a show finish in the La Prevoyante (G3) Jan. 26. This shorter trip looks just about right and the Tropical Park Oaks winner could easily make the grade under Javier Castellano.
#3 Holy Helena (9-5) figures to catch firm turf and that would help after she split a 12-horse field on yielding ground Jan. 26. She missed by a neck at this course/distance in the Via Borghese Dec. 29.
#7 Tricky Escape (9-2) finished a wide 5th in the La Prevoyante and might move up in her second start after a layoff.
