#12 GIANT SHOES (10-1) finished strong to win by 3+ lengths in his local debut in the slop Nov. 24. There is a good chance that he catches a wet track again, and he could easily be this good for sharp trainer Brad Cox.
#8 Captain Bombastic (7-2) is 2-for-2, and he showed something different in each start. He broke slow from the inside post and rallied to win by 2-1/4 in his 6.5 furlong bow at Belmont Sept. 28. In his second start in the Sleepy Hollow at one mile, he attended above par fractions and gamely prevailed by a head Oct. 19. He sports back-to-back local bullets for this.
#13 Dream Bigger (5-2) ran well in all four starts, and added blinkers and kicked his game up a notch in his last pair. He is an outside pace player.
#11 Tercero (12-1) earned an improved number in a state bred special weight show finish Nov. 11, and the runner-up was a next-out winner. The maiden moves to the Bill Mott barn and figures to stalk the pace.
#10 Bank On Shea (8-1) smartly won his Saratoga bow July 14, and returned to finish an okay 3rd vs. this kind Nov. 17.
