#3 AVALINA (7-2) missed by a head March 29, and that was the only time she lost in four outings. She romped in her other three starts and I like her early-pressing versatility. She should make her presence felt throughout under Kendrick Carmouche.
#4 Fashion Faux Pas (5-2) ran off the screen in the local prep for this June 5. She has never earned a number like that before, and she might regress vs. tougher foes today.
#5 Jaywalk (6-5) is having a dreadful sophomore campaign. The juvenile filly champ adds blinkers and will probably be sent to the lead under her new pilot Joe Bravo. It appears as though she peaked as a 2-year-old, and I cannot play her at low odds.
