Monday’s 7th race from Presque Isle Downs is the $100,000 Finest City Stakes for Pennsylvania-bred two-year-old fillies dashing six furlongs on the all-weather surface (Post Time 7:15 p.m. ET).
#4 YOU LOOK COLD (7-2) pressed strong fractions and pulled well clear in her dirt sprint bow at Monmouth Park Aug. 7. She stalked and retreated in the Sorority Stakes at one mile second time out. She should make her presence felt throughout if she runs back to her sharp debut.
#2 Advocate Harbor (6-1) might be the one to catch in a race with a bit of a murky pace scenario. She comfortably went all the way at Parx second time out and stumbled at the start on a wet track at Delaware Park last time. She looks interesting if she breaks cleanly and shakes loose early.
#7 Morning Matcha (2-1) hit the board in all three dirt sprints and improved her speed ratings each time. She was clearly second best at Saratoga Aug. 18 and should be finishing.
#3 Isthatyourharley (9-2) went last-to-first in her local sprint bow and just missed 3rd in a turf sprint second time out. She adds blinkers and should make some noise in the lane.
#1 Heavenly Praise (8-1) stalked and weakened in her local sprint bow. The $330k daughter of Arrogate adds blinkers and Michael Trombetta shows a profit with second timers.
