Monday's Best Bet: Mishko puts in sustain run at Fair Grounds

Monday’s 7th race from Fair Grounds is a starter optional claiming event for four-year-olds and up traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the turf course (Post Time 5:05 p.m. EST).

No. 8 MISHKO (9-2) has a nose for the wire and he enjoys this turf course. The sharp, fresh late runner reconnects with his winning rider Adam Beschizza.

No. 6 Shake Some Action (3-1) was overmatched in the Delta Mile on dirt last time. This is a much better spot and he does some of his best work on turf.

No. 1 Majestic Sign (5-1) is back in the Shane Wilson barn and he won a local turf route for this outfit Nov. 27. He might be the controlling speed from the inside post.

No. 5 Takafumi (7-2) finished in the top three in his last six turf routes. He does not win often but likes hitting the board.

No. 8 to win
