#5 INTHEMIDSTOFBIZ (3-1) finished with interest in a local turf sprint July 2, and she just missed the place in her first start after a layoff that day. That was probably an experiment more than anything. Sprinting on dirt is her game, and she almost always shows early-pressing speed on the main track. She looked good winning an entry level affair at Oaklawn April 26, and she should give a good account of herself in this spot for a recently productive jockey-trainer team. Early speed is very strong at this course and distance, and middle posts are preferred.

#3 Sterling Miss (5-2) is the morning line favorite, and she exits back-to-back local wins at shorter distances. She defeated my top choice on turf last time, and she is 7-for-14 on fast dirt. She will try to get involved late.

#6 More (3-1) did not show any early interest in her last two turf sprints, and she failed to hit the board in those races. She was all over the pace in her last two sharp dirt sprints, and she reunites with her maiden winning pilot Deshawn Parker.
