#11 SPECIAL FORCES (5-1) is 3-for-5 with a second and a third on all-weather ground. The late runner has finished in the top three in his last six starts, and he broke slow and left himself with too much work in the Seagram Cup (G3) at Woodbine Aug. 11. His last two wins were at this distance.

#9 English Minister (6-1) won his last four starts, including the Find Stakes on turf at Laurel Park. He took both of his local routes this year and is a solid threat from off the pace in his current form.

#4 Lookin To Strike (15-1) won all four of his all-weather outings last year. He just missed in his needed turf sprint return at Woodbine Aug. 23 (first start in 7-plus months).

#2 Ohio (4-1) is an 8-year-old gelding with no starts on all-weather footing. The flat mile turf specialist won the Kilroe Mile (G1) at Santa Anita March 30. An inside stalking trip is expected.
