Monday’s 9th race from Turf Paradise is a starter allowance event for 4-year-olds and up traveling seven and one-half furlongs on the turf course (Post Time 6:14 p.m. ET).
#7 CALL YOU TOMORROW (4-1) exits a romping local flat mile dirt victory on the main track and he was all over below par fractions that day. He was a close 3rd in a turf sprint at Del Mar last summer and trainer Don Schnell has been on a roll at the current stand.
#3 Dynamite Lad (5-1) exits a runner-up finish in a local claiming dirt sprint and he was nabbed out of that heat by a competent outfit. Dam has produced four turf winners and he is a contender if he can transfer his solid dirt speed ratings to the turf course.
#2 Hey Sequoia (6-1) exits a clear place finish behind front running winner #9 Kona Coast (3-1) in a local off the turf flat mile event Jan. 8, and the show finisher was a next-out winner.
