No. 5 Artie’s Princess (4-1) is a multiple all-weather stakes winner, and she should impact the pace under Jose Ortiz. She might get brave if able to shake loose early.

No. 6 Caravel (5-2) won two of her last three turf sprint stakes starts, and she won all three all-weather outings including a pair of local victories. Her winning rider Luis Saez stays put, and she should make her presence felt throughout.

No. 9 Jeanie B (8-1) moves to the Michael Stidham barn, and she has won on all-weather ground before. The versatile mare might work out the right tactical trip at playable odds.

No. 3 Change of Control (7-2) is a classy turf sprint specialist trying all-weather ground for the first time. She is sharp and versatile.

No. 11 Cafe Society (12-1) missed by a nose in a local optional claiming sprint Sept. 5. She packs a decent late kick and should get pace to chase.
