#7 PRAIRIE FIRE (6-1) should get pace to chase and Linda Rice shows a profit with the blinkers on move. She has won at Belmont Park before, finished in the top three in all four starts at 6.5 furlongs, and should get pace to chase. She reconnects with her winning rider Jose Lezcano and should offer value.

#4 Jewel of Arabia (5-2) was in the hunt throughout and fired trifecta shots in all five starts vs. state bred company. She won her last two starts as the favorite including a romping local maiden win in the slop at this distance July 10. I don’t have any real knocks, but she is going to face pace pressure in her toughest career test, and she might take money money than she should.

#3 Good Credence (7-2) is back at her favorite venue. She is 2-for-4 with a show finish at Belmont Park and 0-for-4 with one runner-up finish everywhere else.

#6 Fierce Lady (3-1) was the beaten favorite in six of her last seven starts. She owns competitive numbers and ran well in both local starts last year. She fits with these but always takes action and frequently underperforms.
