No. 3 Memorialize (5-2) rallied from far back to land the place in her turf sprint bow after a troubled start. She stretched out and easily graduated from off the pace second time out, and was flat in the Miss Grillo (G2) on Oct. 4. Hard to Justify beat her last time and she returned to captured the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. Graham Motion’s filly might bounce back and run past this group.
No. 7 Voter Registration (9-2) is a first timer for Chad Brown and recently hot rider Jose Ortiz has been clicking with this outfit. Wootton Bassett is a strong turf sire and dam has produced two turf winners.
No. 5 Brocknardini (5-1) is a decent New York-bred filly for George Weaver. She easily handled state breds in her turf route debut at Saratoga, and had an uncomfortable trip when finishing up the track in the Natalma (G1) second time out. She bounced back with a sharp stakes score in the Selima at Laurel Park on Sept. 30.
No. 8 Gold Lightning (7-2) smartly graduated from off the pace in her turf route bow at Saratoga. She raced evenly in the Miss Grillo second time out, and exits an okay show finish in the Chelsey Flower. Javier Castellano is her new rider and she can get a piece of the purse.
