What the Horse Racing Nation is talking about...

Send him to the Gotham! :-)
Having drawn California Chrome comparisons, Galilean is on to the Derby trail.Read More
  • travel_vic · Every colt follows much the same route whether it is through New York, Ky, Calif, New Orleans or Arkansas.....Shrinking pool of talented individual who sort themselves out at the 9 furlong challenge...Those that are still around and fit the profile of Churchill Downs will do well barring incident in the race, MOST won't · 43 minutes ago
  • Berman Mo via Disqus · Looks like these guys have their head screw on straight unlike Hollendorfer's other client, Larry Best who seem like a whack job in comparison. That is the last thing you need, a rich guy with more egos than brains. · 41 minutes ago
I am a huge fan of Audible. I want him to excel. But Audible finished 12 lengths behind City of Light in the Pegasus World Cup. Take him back to where he last excelled - at 7 furlongs and build from there. Imperial Hint is pointing to the Golden Shaheen in Dubai and McKinzie likely points to the Big Cap - so this would be a nice race for Audible to run in and pick up another G1 win. Then he can take on a tougher field in the Met Mile and build from there like Frosted and Honor Code did.
  • travel_vic · good one but has not found his previous form of a few races back.....Had the potential but it has not returned. Does NOT appear ready to take on the top flight animals just yet. · 47 minutes ago
Anyone with any thoughts on this race?..I might play Championship, Janoobi, Marinaresco, still figuring out who else to include
No workouts. Anyone know where shes pointing to next?

  • Brian Hayes via Disqus · No resting, poor Bravazo, give him a break. · 2 hours ago
  • Stan Beeman via Disqus · When Lukas ships a horse he usually rides shotgun in the van and still does even at his age. Now he will be forced to fly the very best of first class probably with Emirates. I think he'll enjoy being treated like a king over there. · 23 minutes ago

  • 1JoeP via Disqus · A small correction in your article, War of Will closed at 17-1 in KDFW2. I opted for 35-1 bomb 💣 Win Win Win in KDFW2. WWW is training well and should be ready to roll in the TB Derby. · 3 hours ago
War of Will is a big mover off his Risen Star win, but who still offers value?Read More
  • Stan Beeman via Disqus · People betting these futures surprise me in their wagering. War of Will was expected to win his race and did as expected but there are people who didn't like him at 20-1 prior to his expected win but will now like him at 8-1. Even worse with Galilean He went off 1-10 and fully expected to crush that field so why not get 40-1 but people will now like him more at 15-1. Odd. · 14 minutes ago

  • travel_vic · On the old show Who Wants to be a Millionaire, one contestant tapped out when the question was asked with 4 options: Who was on the cover of Newsweek, Time and Sports Illustrated all the same week and the options were Muhammad Ali, Mickey Mantle, I think a tennis champion and Big Red...The contestant had no idea and guessed wrong. · 1 hour ago

Timber Town released another photo of the Arrogate-Songbird treasure. Fast growing, seriously beautiful filly. What else would we all expect?

I was impressed 2nd start .Speed will do him good stretching out.The Gallop out said alot.It said give me more real estate.Green but talented.
I was on Youtube today and someone was comparing the first race of Hidden Scroll to the first race of Justify (both earned 104 BSRs for their first race)'s still too early to tell but maybe Justify will eventually replace Secretariat as the new Gold Standard for young long before a bronze statue of Justify replaces the bronze statue of Secretariat at Belmont Park Race Track?.....the times are a changing that's for sure...
  • Show All 5 Comments
  • MacKenzee Hansen via Disqus · That would be disgraceful for justify to even come into comparison with secretariat. Justify was not a great horse nothing compared to secretariat and it kills me so many people think he's the cats meow. If he becomes a standard that sinks lower for any horses racing after 3 years of age and more and more stallions in a shed that truthfully haven't accomplished much. And I totally agree southern humor this is why more and more horse racing sinks downward. Oh my god steroid era?? At least secretariat beat unrestricted races and raced after the triple crown. Plus horses justify beat and 2 I can think of off hand HAVE NOT WON A decent RACE SINCE HE BEAT THEM. I cant believe people like you who worship this horse it's literally insane. Ps.... justifys derby time was the 4th worst from 1960 to now. · 1 hour ago
  • man o' war via Disqus · Oh, New, you haven't been around these parts, have you. Do you not realize saying anything non la la land about Secretariat brings out the nasty pit bull fans of his. They are so worried about their precious horse, that just thoughts of being superseded by Justify, or even the greatest and still the standard no matter how hard they try, lol (and let them know how WE feel), Man O' War, is taboo. That the horse with the stolen nickname isn't going to be outdone by Justify. His connections are on a mission and so that would never happen. Nice try though. And, if they did build a statue, another one of Secretariat would be put up so as to not be outdone!!!!! · 28 minutes ago
