Though we have a nice representation with Sweet Emma Rose, I think she is way over her head here. Rizeema, Fire Blaze, Fast.
I still stand by Camelot. Reversal here of Gold Cup with the classy Al Kazeem second, followed by much respected The Fugue.
Chigun (for Lady Jane and was impressive last out), Duntle, Dank...
Viva la France...will go with Mutin over Gale Force Ten.
Me too : )
(Stud) beauty is in the eye of the beholder. @cocoa/sullivan: Here is the comment that was made: "Why would they send her to a mediocre stud- again? The best offspring War Front has is Lines of Battle and I contribute his success more to Arch as a broodmare sire. Bernardini was another bad choice. Only a few successful offspring who have proven only to do well in New York. Tapit is the best stud they have sent her to."
Two winners today at Royal Ascot: Declaration of War and War Command (in a commanding romp). No wonder Zenyatta was sent to him. This is no "mediocre sire" by any means.
Well, I did say Dawn Approach just barely over Toronado. And indeed it was. Kudos to both for surviving a games of dominos there in the stretch.
From Graham: "It's taken the wind out of our sails, I'm disappointed, who wouldn't be. Johnny [Velazquez] said he had no punch at the half mile. I was worried about the unknowns with him and unfortunately it's caught up with him."
From his connections: Team Valor @TeamValor Too bad. He owes us nothing.
