About me/racing interests:
Racing fan since reading Walter Farley's Man O' War at age 8. Would watch races from dad's office, which overlooked Ak Sar Ben and then worked as groom, exercise rider as soon as I got my license.

How did I get into racing?
Reading Man O' War, following Secretariat and all the great and almost great ones that followed. Throughout my high school years, I worked for Jack Van Berg, and then assistant Frankie Brothers -- until I left for college. I wrote my senior paper on the Daily Racing Form, which my instructor labeled as refreshing. Lived in Japan for a few years, which exposed me to international racing.

Favorite racing moment?
Secretariat's Belmont as well as Affirmed and Seattle Slew's. Zenyatta's win in the Classic and 2nd place in the same a year later.
