ACK ACK.....5 FURLONGS TO 1 1/4 WAS GLAD I SAW HIM RUN.
GOLDIKOVA at a mile!
Just beat ...meaning he had no excuses not that it was close by distance sir. Just beat....
Well I got the jockey change and was just beat on Tapiture. But, I was right on Baffert's hyped up Bayern. He was media hyped on his win against no one. California Chrome with a good trip wins the Derby.
The trip to see this race Live was well worth it. I saw California Chrome up close and personal and he is so big in the chest distance should be no problem. He also has the same running style as Shaed Belief had. Track the speed and then say GOODBYE! With a clean trip in Kentucky nobody can beat this horse. NOBODY!
Post position 6 outside of C.C. for Candy Boy is perfect for me. I always want the horse on the outside in the drive to the wire. Betting wise I will take the 2 standouts in the race before the Derby in a Pick 3 wager. 2 x 1 x ALL and hope to catch a price in the race following Derby. If Candy Boy goes close to 3-1 strictly a WIN bet. Good Luck to ALL.
Just when they say it never rains in California forecast is 70% chance of rain for the Derby. But it is a forecast that is wrong 50% of the time. Do not need a sealed track for Derby.
What do I think? I think I will be driving 4 hours to Arcadia,California to see the next Kentucky Derby winner. There is no way I am going to sit in a race book when I can be there LIVE! This race is going to be something you will not want to miss. Candy Boy is my choice on paper but .....If it is hot temperature wise Santa Anita plays to speed horses and there is plenty of speed in this race. Remember what GAME ON DUDE did in the BIG CAP! It is going to be a GREAT RACE!
CANDY BOY #32 on list. What a joke this is! Bayern #3. I only hope Candy Boy goes off at some juicy odds in Santa Anita Derby! Gary has taken the mount on him over Bayern in the notes section at Santa Anita. Jockeys know and tell agents who they feel is best. Gary has been working both in the mornings. Santa Anita Derby is setting up for a closer. All I see is speed speed speed in the lineup. It is a race where the Jockey with the best game plan will win it. I am making the trip to California to see this race "LIVE".
I was on Chitu in the Lewis to finish 2nd to Candy Boy in a cold exacta and to win only in this race. The only thing I saw in this race was he can not go much farther. Both of these Baffert horses were dead in the lane. You can not go 1:09 and change the first 6 furlongs in Kentucky and hold off any good closer. Too bad Jerry did not send Tamarando to this race. Any good closer would have run down these two. Oh, Candy Boy I believe did exacty that in the Lewis. This race showed again that it might be a California horse in the Kentucky Derby. In two weeks we will see who it will be.
