Worked today at Laurel 5F in 1:00.2 galloped out in 114. All systems go for the Bashford Manor next Saturday at Churchill.
Without question the best looking horse I have ever owned. I hope he continues to run the way he did in the James Murphy.
Going to nominate however I prefer to give him some additional time and go down the same path we did with Debt Ceiling and run in the Bashford Manor at Churchill on June 28th.
What a rush winning the same race in back to back years. Thank you John Robb, Gina Rosenthal for making him a stake winner.
He ran a game race. To go 109 flat for three quarters and still come back and battle reload to the line was impressive. If he holds the rail he is a winner!
Debt Ceiling cooled out fine. You just don't know if they can stretch out until you try it. He will go back to sprinting.
Looks like we are a go for the Sapling at Monmouth Park Sept 1.
Debt Ceiling will be making his next start in the Sanford Stakes on July 21.
I thought he broke down inside the 1/16 pole. Thank god it was just a bobble.
10-1 Morning line! Ramsey declaring victory prior to the race and then coming up with 3 excuses. I love the fact this horse is getting zero respect as he is yet to be favored in any of his starts to date. Thanks to Lynn Ashby for doing a fantastic job breaking him. Super job by Jerry Robb getting him ready and smart ride by the "cocky jockey" Eric Camacho.
