I would not be suprised at all if neither one of them ended up being successful at all. To expect either one to replicate their respective mother's career is folly.
xD Agreed king of California, but can't play with the big boys.
23 years ago we were facing a very similar set up for the distaff. I remember the atmosphere surrounding what could potentially be one of the best filly/mare races ever. Unfortunatly the results were catastrophic. Lets us hope we have a much happier ending to this climatic race. It should be a good one.
Heaven forbid something positive happen in this decade for horse racing .. no worries though T_V is here to constantly tear down any accomplishments that occur, and constantly remind us of how much better things use to be. Because obviously there is absolutely nothing worth celebrating in this day and age. Gold star.
run more & won as a three year old... which is what the award is for.
Princess has run more times, and won more prestigeous races... but you are so right -_- must be because she is based in NY, not because of her record or anything silly like that.
He BARELY beat a group of second stringers. Let the high praise begin.
Nobody other than you even brought up the horse or the trainer. Way to try and create drama where there is none.
lol what? Johnny must have been the reason he did so poorly in the derby too right? oh wait, he won. Johnny just had a tired horse. Animal kingdom was a solid colt, but he was never the best even when he was in the US. people just got caught up in the romanticism of him winning the dubai WC after a LONG layoff and expected to much. This is one of the reasons I selfishly hoped Johhny wouldnt pick the mount back up.
