Thundergram is a VERY interesting play here. Odds will go to Bayern on the other big name horses, probably rightfully so, but I know that Casse was high on Thundergram's potential when he first started. Think they may have started him to early, they gave him a bit of rest/time to mature,. It obviously must have done him some good if connections are willing to tackle this race - blinkers should benefit him as well. Not willing to go all in with him, but I would not be suprised to pull of an upset here.
* Not looking likely he will return to racing.
From what I have heard from my Cali sources it is not looking likely - and on the very minimal chance that he does it won't be for a while.
GOmez is coming back too? That's news. Where did you hear/read that?
reguardless of the rest of the 3 year old talent or 'competition' princess has had a much more prestigeous and eclipse deserving year
Princess. The only reasin it would be " rigged " would be if Bwlholder did win , JUST because she won the breeders cup, which is her only big win THIS year. She had an extremely competitive 2 year old season, and she rightly deserved the award she already has.... she has not had an extremely competitive 3 year old campaign, with the oaks/zenyatta BC the only real note worthy races.
Tomorrow marks the debut of Queen to Be. Wouldn't it be something if this one followed in the other Stanco superstar filly and defied the 'odds' once again.
Yup, we learned that he clipped heels, and it didn't matter who was on him at that point. This was no race to judge his talent level off of.
Easily my favorite west coast filly, trad. dirt is still a question, but I am excited to see her progress
