About me/racing interests:
I am a huge horse racing fan. I follow and handicap the Southern California circuit and also write about racing's past and present.

How did I get into racing?
I went to Santa Anita in late 2007 and was instantly hooked. The roar of the crowd, the stretch run, the history, it is all great to be part of!

Favorite racing moment?
Zenyatta's win in the 2009 Breeders' Cup Classic. California Chrome's triumph in the 2014 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. American Pharoah becoming the 12th Triple Crown champion.
