Tapizar - A horse who needs the lead to win and may have (gut feeling) serious problems with that tenth furlong ---// VS \\--- To Honor And Serve - A horse who needs the lead (or has to inherit) to win and has not shown he really wants to go to ten furlongs (though the pedigree suggest it should be fine). HMMM. I think that Tapizar will win more stakes this year, but that is only because he has a head start.
"Never won a TC race but won a stakes in between tries" = Whichever 3yo race is run as a prep for the Belmont (either Withers or Peter Pan). That and the last clue were the keys.
When I can actually get in front of computer for Who Am I???, I'm always has a live shot!

Turbulent Descent is the only one with a realistic chance to win TWO Grade One races (BC F&M Sprint AND the La Brea) before the end of the year, and she is the only one who hasn't finished off the board
Brian, I know I won at least 5 before the move to HRN and two since (incl. this one), but I have a hunch it might be more. The gaps between the time I play don't help much win it comes to remembering. ;-)
Not sure. At least 7, might be as many as 13.
