yes, they have a big similarity - I'll Have Another won the Derby on May 5 & Preakness on May 19, the exact same dates in 2012 as Secretariat won his in 1973. Secretariat's Belmont was on June 9, 1973. Guess what date IHA's Belmont will be?
Premiere Pegasus had a lot of fans on HRN. This is very sad news :(
it's not so much people rating the horse down, it is that there is a higher volume of votes for the more modern horses. Vote every week and encourage others to do the same, and these legends will retain their deserved status. Remember, most of the site's fans are from a different generation, and we are all eager to learn about horses we "missed".
I wish it was already the 19th, but alas, we have to wait another week to see Frankel run :)
thanks for the update! as a proud Memphian, I am glad to see the horse doing so well! Now, if our Grizzlies could win so effortlessly... #grindforth
Farewell Dynaformer, a sire whose influence will be seen at the track for years to come.
Dullahan's front leg action is interesting... love this behind-the-scenes look!!!
icy, Churchill Downs employs the safety rail, which, while appearing solid & immovable, is actually engineered to give when hit with the force of a horse at racing speed. The top part of the rail is plastic. Churchill installed the safety rail in 2001.

Alysheba is ranked #48. Who would you downgrade? Seems pretty fair to me.
