He should come to NY.
Really impressed with Cairo Prince. Conquest Titan, though... he just confirmed what I've thought about him for a while... he's legit.
Broke her maiden just now! So proud of her.
We really do need more people my age. They're so few and far between that I rarely get to talk to any outside Facebook and HRN. It's one of the things I love most about this site. I think getting younger people hooked is something that we do need to get going with. We need another generation to fuel racing's future. Every time I talk about racing at school, I get funny looks. But when that happens, it shows me what the true perception of lay teenagers toward racing really is, and we need to change that.
I totally agree with everything in this article. Being under 18, I don't exactly have any experience in wagering my own money on anything, let alone a race. I enjoy simply placing myself on a horse's bandwagon and hoping for the best. My 16 years haven't gotten me a whole lot of experience, but in that time, I've learned this: it's all about the money nowadays, all about the high rollers who just get up and leave when things turn sour. We need to hear more about the guy who, even though he doesn't have a lot of money to do so, pays his admission every day and stands by the rail and watches the horses he loves. Because in the end, it is all about the horses, and I wish we could find a way to get this sport back to where it was and should be.
...Sullivan's got it right.
....but I wanna take a selfie with Zenyatta.... so jealous!
...and he would still be talking.... gotta love a good laugh, though.
I really honestly wonder if Mort Fink is running out of speech ideas by now... six is... a lot....
If there's ever a mare who deserves a great retirement, it's her.
