No offense to you, and yes I do know that straining is tenuous, but I do not believe that Godolphin managed him badly. I think they might know a little more about how to manage there horses than you do.
Actually he does. He only sold the interest in California Chrome, not any of the other foals.
I doubt they ruined him. Of his three races, in only one did he actually run. But I however still think he will be a star.
It's just the way he runs.
Very impressive comeback victory today by this guy today at Los Al. Final time was 1:08.46 for 6f, and he won by 1 1/2 lengths.
Noooooooo....... ah well, at least they aren't pushing her to make it, that's admirable.
Yes, I agree with you. Plus, he also won in 1:48:64 at keenland, which is probably one of the fastest races run by a 3yo at 9 furlongs.
After he won his maiden (also by 14 lengths), he had a minor setback, and was given time off to mature and grow.
Anyone see Imperia's first race back on turf today? It was very encouraging! Broke from the widest post, leaders ran a super hard tempo to close into. 25 for the first quarter, 51 for the half, 1:15 for 6 furlongs. Closed strongly. Look to see more from this guy!
