I like that better than the almost too fast 5f. on the 16th. Good job, Mo. Grace is scheduled to workout tomorrow. She's feelin' great at Keeneland.
Vin, Have you lost your mind? This is my first username here, as it was at ntra.com. I just signed up w/ my email. Then one day a few weeks ago, I had trouble signing in, so I went with the new one. I did get a new password for this username e-mailed to me, but I don't like the password too much. I may change it. If hrn lets you click on the names to view the profiles, if you click on Mary Z., it will show the explanation of the name change. Laz, funny? I'm still trying to explain to my husband how you ever got to know Mike Hunt so well.
You did a great job with your video. Beautiful ! And, yes, tears.
kaless, Do you think that Holllywood Park would pay the $100,000 winner's share of the purse twice if they didn't have to?
Thank you very much for this update, TripleCrownCoug.
Horse's ? Why do you keep saying you are scared? Is it those extra 4 furlongs that have you worried? I'll have you to thank, too, for convincing me about Tizway, Beauty. I haven't measured how far I run with the beast cujo every a.m. must be farther than that taxi ride you need to take. lol I like your movie reference, though.
Laz, I "whipped" up a quick response. Wouldn't it be funny if you are the one who convinces me that Tizway is a 10f. horse?
Laz, I'll be honest. I don't get how those figures are calculated, but I'm sure I could learn. Would you say those two races looked the same to you? I wouldn't. HDG's win looked much easier for her than Tizway's, to me anyway. And the final time was so slow, even 1:50 would have been quite slow, especially for that field. I know the Saratoga track was playing slow that day because of how Turbulent Descent's Test Stakes went, but come on, 1:52+?? I just don't think Tizway will win the JCGC. He may and shock the heck out of all of us, but to me even the 9f. is still a question with him. I actually think Flat Out may have the best chance in the JCGC as opposed to Stay Thirsty or Tizway.
Very nice article. I loved it. Looking forward to the Kelso especially after the way you described the match up of Mo and Jackson Bend and their histories.
DOGFACE (HORSEFACE) Tizway has lost two and won two of his four races this year, but I guess he's on a roll lately. lol No one can say anything was wrong with his Met Mile, but it was A MILE. The 1:52.43 of his Whitney win, 13.11 final eighth has most questioning if he can get the 10f. in a decent time. I think not, but if he does it in the JCGC, his trainer should be up for a Eclipse of his own for accomplishing that feat of getting Tizway to stretch out a quarter mile past his best distance.
